Building a Better Black & White Image - Part One
As with most other things in Photoshop, there are several different ways to create black and white photos from color images. The most obvious way is to simply convert your image from one of the color modes to grayscale. However, there are several tools that let you have control over how your black and white images will look and allow you to produce much more interesting results. In this series we will take a look at three of them: the Channel Mixer, Image Calculations and Apply Image. We will begin with the Channel Mixer.
